Homeopathy is a medical science which is founded on the principle of similarity, infinitesimality and individualization. This system of medicine assists the body and mind, in people of all ages, by strenghtening and balancing the vital energy of the person.

Homeopathy has a holistic perspective in addressing a physical or mental state of dis-ease ; therefore, it takes into account the very root cause of the symptoms one suffers. The focus is the totality of the individual and the way the suffering is expressed, not just the diseased parts of the body. It is a holistic medicine where mental, physical, emotional, objective and subjective symptoms and sensations are part of the whole picture which the homeopath addresses. It is a system of medecine that recognizes that the whole person-mind, body and spirit and the illness are intertwined, although the root cause of the illness may not always be emotional. It can also be genetic, environmental, hygiene and medication related.
Homeopathy requires a profesional consultation because it is such a personalized and complex medicine.

About the remedies

Homeopathic remedies are prescribed according to the Law of Similars. Like cures like. This means treating the person with a substance that produces symptoms similar to those from which he/she is suffering. The remedy resonates with the person's vitality. The remedies stimulate the body's self-regulating system. Homeopathy maintains, restores health in people of all ages without toxicity or side effects. It is preventive as well as curative in acute and chronic diseases.

How the remedies work

The principle of similars can be understood in light of the physics of music. When a C note is played on an instrument, all C notes only will reverberate even from a relative distance. When there is resonance, it creates a hypersensitivity. In the same manner, homeopathy is based on resonance. Infinitely small doses can powerfully create a healing response when there is similarity between the toxicology of the medicine and the totality of symptoms of the person.
